Located in the basement of First Baptist Church, BFD is a community storehouse of food items that serves the needs of the hungry in Brighton and the communities our partners serve. Many volunteer opportunities are available to all interested individuals of any age. BFD assists the efforts of Pittsford Food Cupboard in their service to our neighbors. BFD has a "backpack" program supplying food monthly to 100 students and their families at school #4 in Rochester.

Remember, we are now accepting your food donations any Sunday of the month. This gives you the opportunity to either have a lighter bag to bring to church or an opportunity to give more to the Depot’s Backpack Program.

This month’s needs can be any item that you wish to donate but we especially appreciate one of the following:

• Cereal
• Pasta
• Spaghetti Sauce
• Tuna, Entrees
• Vegetables
• Fruit
• Peanut Butter
• Rice or Pasta Sides
• Juice Boxes/Pouches
• Zip Lock Bags
