What had Christianity almost lost because of a decision made almost 1400 years ago? Why does Christianity differ from many other religions in its teachings about nature, the presence of God/Spirit, humanity, inherent sin and evil? Where might "New Age" religiosity stem from? Do any of these questions intrigue you? Looking at Celtic Christianity may give us insights to possible answers to these questions. The short, easy to read book Listening for the Heartbeat of God by J. Philip Newell is our resource.
