 Elinore Hoven Basnett
November 7, 1921 - September 11, 2006
Since joining the First Baptist Church of Rochester in 1958, Elinore Basnett remained an active member for over 50 years. She served as Sunday school teacher, deacon, trustee and moderator. She became the church librarian in 1971, and served faithfully until her retirement in 2005. This library is named in her honor for recognition of her faithful services.
On Rally Day Sunday, September 14, 2008, the Elinore Basnett Library was dedicated.
