Family and friends of First Baptist Church of Rochester gather to share special times together in worship several times throughout the year. We extend an invitation for you to join us for any of these special worship services. Check our church calendar for specifics on upcoming services that hold an interest for you. The calendar can be accessed through the Calendar of Events image in the top picture on the left-hand side.
To us a special service is a time we gather together outside of Sunday morning or when there is a highlighted event that makes our Sunday worship more meaningful or unique. These included Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Youth-led Service, Pentecost Sunday, Baptism Sunday, Outdoor Worship, Rally Sunday, Advent, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. We have had other special services over the years such as Alternative Worship Services with Jazz music on Thursday evenings, a Blue Christmas Service, and numerous musical worship events. Whatever the reason for worship, we would love for you to join us.
